Finding images on the Internet

Daminion offers you the opportunity to search the Internet for images that are the same as, or visually similar to images in your Daminion catalog.

If, for example, you plan to use a particular photo for a campaign, and you don’t have exclusive rights to it, it may be helpful to find out whether or not it is being used on the Internet and who is using it.

Then again, if you market your own photos, you might be interested to know who is using them and in what context.

Or maybe you want to use a specific subject for a campaign and would simply like to see what alternatives are available.

Exact search for a specific image on the web

In the Daminion Browser, select an image you want to search for and navigate to Catalog > Find Image on the Internet.

Daminion submits the image to Google, where it starts the search. Search results are then automatically displayed in your web browser
