Server Administration Panel

The Server Administration Panel is the central point for adjusting the network parameters to manage shared catalogs, users and their roles, setting the metadata handling, managing your Daminion licenses and finally for backing up your catalog data!

The main window shows the current status of the Daminion Server service and the status of PostgreSQL. The two green lights are indicating the proper active state. Possibly Error status, are indicated by a yellow light. With the “Stop” button you can stop/start the server service manually.

The blue colored command: “Catalogs …” is to access the menu for catalog management.

The upper menu bar will take you to further functions:

Help“ ->“ License Management…“. Opens the dialog for the License management. You can read more about the license management in chapter: Registering Daminion

Help“ -> „Show Logs…“. With this, you can open an explorer window containing the Daminions Log file and further configuration files. These files can be helpful for possible troubleshooting.

View“ –> „Language“. Here you can change the interface language.

File“ -> „Preferences“. Here you can set how Daminion should treat metadata at shared catalogs.
